GOV. UGWUANYI INAUGURATES AGRIC COMMISSIONER, SPECIAL ADVISERS AND ECTDA BOARD

The Enugu State Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has directed the newly inaugurated board members of Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA) to ensure enforcement of development control in the state. The Governor Ugwuanyi made the remark at the Government House during the inauguration of the board members; swearing in of a newly appointed Commissioner of Agriculture and Natural Resources; and Special Advisers.

The Governor reiterated his administration’s desire to advance good governance and optimize service delivery as well as ensure security of lives and property of people. He urged public officers to avoid contaminating governance with politics as performance was key in his administration.

The Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. Matthew Anene Idu, who spoke on behalf of the newly appointed EXCO members thanked the Governor for reposing such responsibility on them and pledged to discharge  their duties with due diligence.

Radio Nigeria gathered that four youths were appointed Special Advisers to the governor and they are Mr. Anthony Ikenna Nwodo, Mr. Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Mr. Michael Ogbuekwe and Mr. Anthony Chukwudubem Onyia.
