
GOV NWIFURU ASSURES YOUTH CORPS MEMBERS OF SECURITY & WELFARE, TASKS THEM ON SELFLESS SERVICE

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has enjoined national youth corps members deployed to the state for their service year to contribute their quota to the development of the state through selfless service.
He made the call Ina message to the closing of the 2023 Batch C Stream 1 Orientation Course at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Afikpo.
Represented by the State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Mr. Richard Idike, the Governor said though the next stage of their service year would be challenging, he had no doubt that they had been properly equipped to face the task ahead.
He assured them of adequate security and welfare as they discharged their lawful duties.
The State Coordinator of the Scheme, Mrs. Oladeinde Foluke, admonished the corps members to be law abiding and respect the culture of their host communities.
She noted that their postings covered four critical areas of Rural Infrastructure, Agriculture, Health and Education.
