GARBA TAKES OVER AS COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN EBONYI

A new Commissioner of Police, Mr. Aliyu Garba, has been deployed to the Ebonyi State Command.
He takes over from Mr. Sule Maku who has been redeployed to Special Protection Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Mr. Garba who hails from Kontagora Local Government Area of Niger State, was before his new posting, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Welfare, Department of Finance and Administration, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
He had before then served in the Research and Planning Force Headquarters, Abuja.
He was once the Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 2 Headquarters, Lagos.
Other previous positions included: Assistant Commissioner of Police in-charge of Area Command Headquarters Railway Ibadan; the Area Commander Bori River State; and the Area Commander Port-Harcourt.
He was also the Assistant Commissioner in Agodi Area Command Headquarters Oyo State, 2i/c State CID Bauchi State Command.
He was also the Divisional Police Officer Okrika, Diobu, Special Area, Bonny Island and many other Police Divisions in River State Command, among others.
