The Corps Marshal stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Willie Obiano at the Governor’s Lodge Onitsha.

Radio Nigeria learnt that the visit was to chart an understanding of improved traffic situation in the state during the yuletide.

Mr. Oyeyemi who said the visit was the sixth exchange of brief between FRSC and the state government, noted that it yielded desired results and explained that Corps’ visibility in Onitsha Bridge head was to ensure that nobody passed the night on the bridge.

He further explained that the briefing to the governor was usually to access the traffic situation and draw joint implementation of traffic control.

The Corps Marshal pointed out that the present administration had sustained provision of logistics to ensure that they achieved their objectives.

Recieving the FRSC boss, Governor Obiano said that the Corps was expected to concentrate on decongestion of roads and removal of disused and abandoned vehicles from the roads.

Governor Obiano called on motorists to maintain descipline on the road, saying that the Corps had agreed to convert some roads in the area to one lane to contain the traffic.
