He said the project, which was executed by the Ecological Fund Office, was in line with the determination of his administration to ensure that no part of the country was left out in the developmental efforts of the government.

The President, who was represented by the Member representing Isiala Mbano, Onuimo and Okigwe Federal Constituency, Princess Miriam Onuoha, urged the benefitting community to protect the erosion control project cited in their area to justify the huge resources spent on giving the people a new lease of life.

The Permanent Secretary Ecological Fund Office Abuja, under the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Dr.Habiba Lawal, represented by Mr. Udochi Nwachukwu, said the intervention followed request by the affected community to save the people of Umuma Isiaku from further environmental degradation.
