ESBS GETS ₦24 MILLION FOR FULL DIGITIZATION.

Enugu State has released the sum of ₦24 million for the full digitalization of the State Broadcasting Services, ESBS, to improve its productivity.

The Managing Director of ESBS, Chief Chukwuma Ogbonna, announced this while addressing members of the State House of Assembly Committee on Information who were on oversight visit to the station.

Chief Ogbonna explained that the station was responding to questions of developing positive morality and positive cultural heritage of the people through programmes.

He appealed to the state Government to relocate to her transmitting station in line with civil aviation directives.

The Chairman House Committee on Information and the member representing Nkau East Constituency, Chief Paul Nnajiofor, commended the State Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for his proactive step in repositioning the outfit.

Chief Nnajifor called on the Station to develop more local content programmes and news that would promote peace and morality of the young ones.

He urged them to be in vanguard of informing and disseminating programmes and policies of the present administration to the rural areas through local-based and dialectical programmes and news.
