#ENDSARS PROTESTERS GROUND MOVEMENT ON MAJOR ROADS IN ENUGU
Reporter: CHUKWUBUIKE MADU
Vehicular movement in Enugu was grounded for hours on Monday following occupation of some sections of the major roads in the Coal City by #ENDSARS protesters.
The protest affected traffic on Abakaliki Road and some parts of Ogui Road, making commercial and private vehicular movement to Emene, Abakpa, New Haven and New Layout axis practically impossible.
Motorists and their passengers, who had the opportunity of reversing in the traffic, had to take alternative routes that were much more longer.
The protesters finally settled at Ogui and Otigba Junctions, where they vowed to occupy till day break.
It was nightmare for some drivers who had no opportunity of reversing and seeking alternative routes as they had to park their vehicles on the road, visibly stranded.
