The Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial Zone and Deputy President of the Senate, Chief Ike Ekweremadu, has reassured his constituents of quality representation through provision of social amenities that would make democracy meaningful to them.
Chief Ekweremadu made the comment at an event in Iwollo, Ezeagu Local Government Area while inaugurating a water project, as part of his determination to providing portable water for all communities in the Senatorial District.
Chief Ekweremadu noted that the project would compliment efforts of the State Government to bring democracy dividends to the people.
The Lawmaker explained that a brand new water rig he procured was to ensure that every community in Enugu West including, interested homes, have portable water before the end of 2019.
The Catholic Priest in-charge of Sacred Heart Parish, Iwollo Omasi where drilling has started, the Reverend Father John Uke, said that the people had suffered for years for lack of good drinking water.
