EID EL KABIR: ABIA POLICE COMMAND ASSURES SAFETY

As Muslims in Abia State get set to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir Celebration, the Police Command in State has been assured of a secured and peaceful atmosphere.
The spokesperson of the Command, Mrs. Maureen Chinaka, gave the assurance in a statement.
The Command emphasized that to guarantee everyone’s safety before, during, and after the celebration, its officers have enhanced their presence in key areas and would closely monitor public gatherings and events to maintain peace and order.
It also called on all Muslim faithful and the public to be vigilant and security-conscious tomorrow and not hesitate to report suspicious individuals or activities to the nearest police station or use the emergency hotlines which are 08035415406, 08079210004, 08079210003 and 08079210005.
