International missionary scholar, Rev. Dr. Rolland Wieser, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his humility and fear of God, adding that such disposition has helped the administration record the many landmark achievements recorded since its inauguration.
The Christian cleric stated this during his courtesy visit to the Government House, Enugu. He was received by the state’s deputy governor, Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo, who noted that the Ugwuanyi
administration will continue to appreciate the immeasurable love of God it has so far experienced.
“In Enugu State, we believe in prayers for we know that prayer is the key to all things that are good and it has been and will always be our sustenance,” she said in a speech read on behalf of the governor,
assuring the visiting missionary of his cooperation at all times.
Rev. Dr. Wieser explained that the visit was necessitated by his wish to seek ways of cooperation with the state which, he said, has experienced impressive infrastructural and human resource development
under Governor Ugwuanyi.
He informed his hosts of the forthcoming graduation ceremony of the Bethel Theological Seminary and solicited the governor’s presence at the occasion.
