REPORTER: AMECHI ODO
Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has directed security agents to arrest anyone or group of persons who attempt to evict occupants of Government quarters across the state.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor, explained that the directive followed reports that some persons were going about forcing occupants of government quarters across the state to vacate.
He emphasised that Governor Nwifuru did
not give any such directive and warned those involved in the act to desist or face the wrath of the law.
The statement pointed out that all occupants of government quarters would be duly informed whenever such directive became necessary.
