ARCHBISHOP CHUKWUMA, EMMA OKALA, IKE OKERE EXTOL OUT-GOING ENUGU SPORTS CLUB CHAIR

Those in leadership positions have been implored to be honest and display fairness to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Anglican Communion, the Most Reverend Emanuel Chukwuma gave the advice during a ‘special breakfast with the Lord and Grand Commissioning of Auditorium Minimarts and Museum of Enugu Sports Club.

Archbishop Chukwuma while extolling the sterling leadership quality of the out-going Chairman of the Club, Chief Ben Etiaba, under whose tenure the achievements were recorded urged Nigerians to always put God first in whatever they did.

A member of Enugu Sports Club and former ace goalkeeper of Enugu Rangers International Football Club, Mr. Emmanuel Okala, observed that the achievements of Chief Etiaba, within two years he was at the helm of affairs at the Club, were an eloquent testimony of his exceptional leadership capabilities.

In a remark, the Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Enugu (FRCN), Mr.  Ike Okere described Chief Etiaba as a very capable and innovative leader whose tenure was a defining moment in the history of the Club.

Mr. Okere pointed out that resurgence of membership and the pride of old members now in the club were all attributed to his charisma and competence.

People from all walks of life including the former Deputy Governor of Anambra State and mother of the out-going Chairman, Dame Virgie Etiaba attended the event.
