The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr. Olatunde Maku, has stressed the importance of discipline and exceptional operational performance among personnel serving in the state.

Mr. Maku made this known during a muster parade held at the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Awka.

Addressing personnel during the occasion, Mr. Maku urged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in their duties.

The State NSCDC Boss sternly cautioned officers and men against participating in illicit activities such as job racketeering and promotion scams, emphasizing that offenders would face dismissal.

He also underscored the significance of maintaining a professional image through proper dress code, attitude and behaviour, especially during official working hours.

Mr. Maku further urged individuals who falsified their records, author anonymous petitions against the Corps or refused transfers to reconsider their actions, as these were considered serious offences.
