ANAMBRA NOV 6, 2021 GUBER ELECTION: CP CALLS FOR PEACE AMONG POLITICAL PARTIES

In an effort to sustain the existing public order and public safety in Anambra state, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Tony Olofu, has sued for peace and tolerance among political parties in the area.
He stated this when he interacted with representatives of different political parties in Anambra State at the Police Command Headquarters, Amawbia.
This is contained in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga.
In the statement, the Commissioner of Police assured the people of Anambra State that the Command would work with other stakeholders to ensure public order in the state before, during and after the political campaigns.
According to the statement, the Commissioner of Police being the head of internal security in the state shall always be on ground to coordinate the security deployment.
The statement called on members of the public to coordinate themselves and cooperate with the security agents in the course of discharging their constitutional duty.
