ANAMBRA CENTRAL CONSTITUENTS PLEDGE SUPPORT TO SOLUDO ADMINISTRATION

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Uche Ekwunife says the people of the Constituency are determined to partner the government of Anambra State in its drive to ensure that the state is taken to greater heights.

Senator Ekwunife stated this during a Solidarity visit to Governor Chukwuma Soludo at Government House, Awka.

Royal fathers from Anambra Central, Presidents-General, Speaker House of Assembly and some lawmakers attended the meeting.

Senator Ekwunife, while congratulating Governor Soludo on his
historic victory during the last gubernatorial election, expressed readiness and the desire of her constituents to partner the state government in its agenda of ensuring good governance.

The Senator expressed optimism that the revised 2022 budget, which captured the aspects of youth development and infrastructure, would give the youth a hope for a better tomorrow.

She extolled the the burning desire of Governor Soludo to recruit more teachers and health personnel as well as declaring state of emergency on roads and waste management as a step in the right direction.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo, while welcoming the Senator and her entourage, called for a robust collaboration and strategic partnership with the people of the state to achieve his administration’s mission statement.

Governor Soludo noted that his administration was making plans of building a befitting Government House and Lodge in the state capital.

The Governor, while expressing worry over the sit-at at home order, which had crippled economic activities in the area, assured the people of the state of securing their lives and property was his top priority.

The Governor revealed that plans were on to end the wanton killings, kidnappings and spate of insecurity in the state.

He called on all stakeholders to co-operate with his administration to move the state forward.
