ABSTAIN FROM DRUG ABUSE AND CULTISM — GOV OBIANO ADMONISHES YOUTHS

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has advised youths to abstain from cultisim and drug abuse.

Governor Obiano, who gave the piece of advice in an interview with Radio Nigeria, lamented that youths’ involvement in cultisim has become a worrisome trend in the area.

The Governor, while stressing that drug abuse is the major contributor to crime and mental instability in the society, warned that anyone caught would be made to face the law.

He particularly frowned at alleged killings by some cult groups in the area.

Governor Obiano assured the people of the state that his administration would not relent in making policies that would benefit the younger generation.

The Governor, who observed that some parents had failed in their primary responsibility, urged them to monitor the activities of their children and wards to help them become responsible citizens.
