The Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, has promised to assist Radio Nigeria Pacesetter FM, Umuahia in the move to resuscitate and reposition the station
Mr. Ekeoma gave the assurance when a delegation of the management of the station, led by the General Manager, Mr. Uche Ndukwe, paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House Umuahia.
He noted that Governor Alex Otti had in the past assisted the station and other media organizations, adding that the present administration in the state would work with the station to fullfil its mandate to the people and government.
According to Mr. Ekeoma Governor Otti’s administration is ready to collaborate with every body irrespective of their religious and political affiliations to meet the desires of Abia residents.
Earlier, the General Manager Radio Nigeria Pacesetter FM Umuahia, Mr. Uche Ndukwe said the Management team were at the government house to solicit assistance to rebuild, restart and reposition the station for optimal broadcast services to the people and government of Abia State.
Mr. Ndukwe explained that Radio Nigeria Pacesetter FM planned to adequately and effectively project the Abia State within the South East geopolitical zone and at the national level.
The General Manager urged the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to have confidence in the conventional media like Pacesetter Fm Umuahia , for their authentic, believable acceptable, balanced, objective and factual contents as well as reach to even people at the grassroots.
