ABAYI POLICE STATION SET ABLAZE IN ABIA

The Police Command in Abia State has confirmed an attack on Abayi Police station at World bank in Aba by unknown hoodlums.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Mr. Geoffrey Ogbonna, made this known to Radio Nigeria in Umuahia

According to the PPRO, the hoodlums armed with dangerous weapons, attacked the station, killed one officer and set some
vehicles parked in the station ablaze.

Mr. Ogbonna added investigation into the attack has commenced.
