48 YEARS OLD MAN ELECTROCUTED IN ANAMBRA STATE

A forty eight year old man has  allegedly been electrocuted while trying to connect light from  an electricity cable in Awada,  Anambra state.

The victim,  Mr Emmanuel Oduka who  hails from Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State but resides at number 1 Obieminaka street Awada Onitsha.

Police operatives who  visited the scene rushed the victim to St Charles Borromeo hospital,  where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor on duty.

The corpse had been deposited at the hospital mortuary while investigation is ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Confirming the incident in a press release,  the Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra state, Mr Haruna Muhammed says the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State,  Mr John Abang  advises residents to seek for experts whenever they have electric fault in order to avert similar ugly incident.
