PCN SEALS 348 PHARMACIES & PATENT MEDICINE SHOPS IN EBONYI

Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) has sealed three hundred and forty-eight pharmacies and patent medicine shops in Ebonyi State.
The Director Inspection and Monitoring of the Council, Mrs. Anthonia Aruya, made this known to journalists in Abakaliki.
Mrs. Aruya, who represented the Registrar of the Council, Mr. Elijah Mohammed, explained that the premises were sealed for violating the law setting up the Council and its ethical standard in drug prescription and dispensing.
She noted that following the approval of National Drug Distribution Guideline by the Federal government, the Council was committed to relocating open drug market to approved and fully regulated wholesale centres.
