BE DILIGENT TO NATIONAL SERVICE – DEPUTY DIRECTOR NEWS TELLS YOUTH CORPS MEMBERS

Corps members have been advised to carry out their national assignment with diligence.

The Deputy Director News, FRCN Enugu National Station, Mr. Stone Echereobia Agomoh, made the call during a farewell ceremony in honour of a National Youth Corps member, Mr. Emmanuel Terwase, who served in the News Sub Directorate of FRCN Enugu.

Mr. Agomoh commended the Zonal Director of the station, Mr. Ike Okere for the enabling environment provided for Corps members to serve in the organisation.

“We are happy that the enabling environment, made this corps member, Tewase, to distinguish himself in the service of fatherland. I want to thank you for distinguishing yourself, believing that other corps members that are listening would also do well,” Mr. Agomoh stated.

Also, the Assistant Director News, Mr. Vincent Oshigbo, advised the Corps member, Mr. Tewase, to ensure he distinguish himself in his future endeavour.

“I will only advice you that what you are doing to spur you to continue to do what you are doing; continue to distinguish yourself wherever you find yourself; continue to relate well with others and continue to be dedicated to duty,” Mr. Oshigbo advised.

The Corps member, Mr. Emmanuel Terwase, expressed gratitude to the management and members of the News Sub-Directorate for the care and love showed to him while he was carried out his national assignment.

Mr. Tewa said “I will like to really appreciate all of you for giving me the opportunity in the field of journalism; it is what I have passion for. You have received me as your own, giving me assistance in different ways and giving me the enabling environment to learn. I appreciate you for the love and kindness you have shown to me. I pray that the good Lord will bless all of you in Jesus name.”

Two other news staff who worked with the Corps member described him as a hard working person, who endeared himself to members of staff of the news Sub-Directorate.

“It’s not just that he is intelligent, he is a team player, understanding and he is cheerful. All these qualities have made him somebody to be celebrated today.

“He’s diligent and he attends to his office duties well. In fact, his national service was a fulfilling one. I wish him good luck in his future endeavour,” they eulogized.

Some of the news staff urged government at all levels to create employment for the teeming youths in the country, especially those who have concluded their national youth service.
